I Wish Poem
I wish I was in "The Tub" sitting back, relaxing
and watching the dolphins swim in the beautiful blue water.

Bright colors falling
crinkling in the cool breeze

Baby Shower:
Just a little party it will be such a treat,
In honor of a little girl we are very anxious to meet.
There will be games and food so please come prepared,
To laugh and smile - oh! the fun that will be shared.
This party will be held at Kimberly's place,
And we really hope to see your beautiful face.

I can taste the dust.
Feel the dirt on my fingers.
Feel the rubber under my cleat.
Feel my heart beating.
I can see the glove and the signal given to me.
I see the hope in my teammates' faces.
I see my father and all of the work we've done to get here.
I will not fail, they believe in me.
I cannot fail, We have worked so hard for this.
Could this one pitch determine our success?
I automatically know the grip.
The wind up is second nature.
As I stride I hold my breath.
Before I even release the ball,
I already know the outcome.
Champions.
